“The Perils of Freedom”

This deer looks beautiful and free standing in a lovely open field. At a glance, we envy her grace and free spirit and even her lifestyle.. But looking closer, we note that she seems to be faced with challenges relating to her enviable freedom. Threatening weather is approaching. She also seems vulnerable to predators as she stands elegantly in her beautiful surroundings. This reminds me that freedom isn’t free. It comes at a cost.
